Colas Rail - Class 56's
Colas Rail's two unusual Class 56's feature 56312 in purple, named "Artemis" (surely the UK railway's strangest livery!) and "plain Jane" 56311, in grey (undercoat?).
Both models were created from new Hornby Class 56's, brought alive by decals from Precision.
56312 - "Artemis"
Completed in Porterbrook Purple (Precision Paints) with decals from Precision Labels, Artemis is a striking train. The decals are a fantastic piece of work, but do require a certain amount of skill and patience to apply successfully.
"Barney" has now found a home on Pat Seales' Newcastle Haymarket,

56311
This one has to be one of the simplest resprays I've done! That said, the black edging round the cab windows was tricky.

The eventual buyer of this pair wanted them weathered, so this was the end result....
