After weeks away from the Works, I've finally been able to complete my Class 60, 60040, in the recent "Army - Be the Best" livery, as an ex-soldier I can honestly say that very fetching it looks too!
It's a Hornby 60, which I stripped down and resprayed into EWS red, adding decals from my old friends at Precision.
Not without hiccups though, broken fittings, grilles and a whole host of other niggly things have gone awry, not the usual smooth project.
Anyway, finally got it ready for some weathering...
Work's now started on my Network Rail Class 37, to run my NR fleet, see here.
It's a Bachmann model, stripped using Superstrip, undercoated in Halfords grey primer and it's now received two coats of Network Rail bodyside yellow (Precision)...
